Invisalign
Invisalign's invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners will give you the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted. And best of all, no one can tell you're wearing them. Invisalign is great for adults and teenagers. We offer free cosmetic and invisalign consults.
What is Invisalign?
- Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces.
- Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets
- Invisalign has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices nationwide.
How Does Invisalign Work?
- You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
- As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the their final position
- You'll visit us about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
- Total treatment time averages 9 - 15 months and the average number of aligners during treatment is between 18 - 30, but both will vary from case to case.
How Are Aligners Made? You'd Be Amazed...
- The aligners are made through a combination of our expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.

Crowns
Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. They are typically used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal. When decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth. Crowns are also used to attach bridges, cover implants, prevent a cracked tooth from becoming worse, or an existing filling is in jeopardy of becoming loose or dislocated. Crowns also serve a cosmetic use, and are applied when a discolored or stained tooth needs to be restored to its natural appearance.
Procedure
A tooth must usually be reduced in size to accommodate a crown. A cast is made of the existing tooth and an impression is made. The impression is sent to a special lab, which manufactures a custom-designed crown. In some cases, a temporary crown is applied until the permanent crown is ready. Permanent crowns are cemented in place.

Veneers
In just two or three dental visits, a veneer can
reverse years of stains caused by foods, caffeine and tobacco use. Special thin laminates, called veneers, can also be used to correct discolored, worn down, cracked and chipped teeth. Veneers can also be used to
close unsightly gaps between teeth. Stronger types of veneers made of porcelain, also called composite veneers, typically last longer because they are bonded to the tooth.
An impression of the tooth must be made and a veneer molded by a lab technician. Because veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, they are
permanent and non-reversible.
The process involves buffing the tooth, removing an extremely thin layer of the tooth to allow for the thickness of the veneer, an impression of the tooth, and final bonding of the veneer to the tooth with special cement. A special light is used to complete the process.

Implants
Dental implants enable dentists to create healthy, attractive smiles in an innovative way. Used to replace one or more missing teeth, implants are another alternative to conventional bridges and dentures. In essence, dental implants act and look like natural teeth. Because they maintain bone mass, dental implants can help prevent additional tooth loss as well as the sunken facial appearance associated with missing teeth. A dental implant restoration consists of a bio-compatible titanium screw and post topped by a crown, bridge, or denture.
The implant is surgically placed into the jawbone where it replaces the natural tooth root. In a few months, the implant securely attaches to the bone (called "osseointegration"), allowing it to withstand biting and chewing forces just like a healthy, natural tooth.
Are Dental Implants Right For Me?
The most common indications for implant therapy are:
- Replacement of one or more missing teeth.
- Support of a non-removable "bridge" to replace multiple teeth.
- Support of a removable full or partial denture
- Patients who successfully pass a screening and evaluation can be considered as candidates for implant replacement.
The primary limiting factor inherent in implant therapy is the amount of bone available to receive and support the implant. If it's determined that a patient does not have enough bone to support an implant restoration, bone grafting procedures may be considered. Heavy smoking and some medical conditions may preclude the use of implant therapy.
What Happens At The First Appointment?
To determine the appropriate site for the implant replacement, Dr. Neal will typically take x-rays and may prescribe CT scans as well. Impressions are taken of the mouth to help in determining the correct placement of any crowns, bridges, or dentures. After carefully determining the correct position for each implant, a surgical guide may fabricated to safely guide each implant into a predetermined position with precision and exactness using a fabricated surgical guide to simplify the placement of the implants. With this surgical guide technique no incision is necessary and the patient very often has very little or no post operative discomfort.
The implant is left undisturbed for three to six months to allow it to attach (osseointegrate) with the bone. If the implant is in a visible area of the mouth, the patient may choose to wear a temporary prosthesis during the healing period. Dentures may be relined with soft liners to allow patients to comfortably wear them during the healing process.
What Happens At Subsequent appointments?
Once the implant has been completely integrated with the bone, a post is attached to the implant. Dr. Neal is now ready to restore your implants with the appropriate crown, bridge, or denture. Dental implants look natural and will give you years of service. We have included a number of photos of our patients that are enjoying their life more because of dental implants. They have teeth back that they were missing and the security of knowing their teeth will not slip when they are eating their favorite foods. They no longer have to worry when they are out with friends and family.
